The boxes are good and the quality is high. Some simple paper instructions would be helpful. Also, the video makes it look too easy. Assembling these solo is not easy.
This planter was exactly what I was looking for and had a hard time finding. I use it to plant the screen that hides the yard waste bin. I stained it to match our fence. Great quality. Love the black hardware and very simple assembly.

I bought 2 planters to use as a screen across my driveway. The Cedar Planters team was very responsive to every question I had. One of the sides was damaged during shipping so they sent me new parts within days of my email. Since I need to move my planter boxes once in a while, I installed 3”caster wheels. This might be an option Cedar Planters should offer in the future.

The planter was assembled in a very straightforward manner, and the grandchildren really got into helping with the assembly. They are a great addition to our tiny backyard which has so little planting space.

We searched high and low for some raised planters that would like nice in our renovated back yard. The cedar planters are perfect - they match our fence beautifully, were easy to assemble and have a pleasant cedar scent!
I am delighted with the planters. They arrived really quickly and were very easy to assemble.
I love the Planter box. It was easy to put together and was doing their perfect except that I think you should’ve included one or two more slats for the bottom. It’s much much better to have a little extra than to have gaps in the bottom. The box is very attractive and I’ve had a lot of people come to look at it.. For the plants I wanted to install in the box. The box was deep enough, but I can see how someone might want to plant a flower or vegetable that needs to be deeper in the soil.

Easy to assemble. I ordered six of them, so it took some time to assemble. We have them placed around the edges of our swimming pool, but have not yet filled them with soil or plants.
We recently purchased an 11th floor condo in Vancouver BC and wanted to create a small planted oasis on our deck to try to lure some of the neighborhood birds. We had looked at a number of pre-assembled planter options at various big box stores, but they all looked pretty tacky. My wife saw an advertisement for these cedar planters and they seemed to meet all of our needs for attractiveness, affordability and availability. We purchased two, which were relatively easy to assemble, following the video instructions. Our only minor complaint is that a few of the slats had split during shipping. This didn’t affect the overall assembly or (hopefully) longevity of the planters. Given the nature of the wood that these planters are constructed of, it’s not surprising that there would be some minor flaws in the components. I’m sure the company would have replaced the few broken pieces, but I was anxious to get the planters assembled and filled, so I didn’t bother to ask. Overall, we’re very pleased and will likely purchase a couple more next summer.

Cedar is a natural insect repellent, protecting your garden from unwanted critters.
